ADVANCED RULES MANAGEMENT

BoardiGO provides organizations with the technological and logistical framework to conduct, process, monitor and tabulate all votes accurately, securely and efficiently. Use BoardiGO's default rules or create your own according to your needs.

While creating a voting item, choose one of the default rules:

  • Unanimity: Quorum 100% / Majority 100%
  • Super majority: Quorum 100% / Majority 67%
  • Simple majority: Quorum 50% / Majority 50%
  • Relative majority: No quorum / Majority 50%
  • At least one: No quorum / Majority 1% (Recommended only for signatures)

Or create your own rule:

  1. Go to the rules section.

  2. Click on Create a new rule button.

  3. Fill out the form:

    1. Primary information:

      1. Name of the rule: Name your rule clearly and concisely so that you can quickly find it in the list of rules.
      2. Status: Choose the status in which you want to keep the rule.
        • Active: To make it visible in the list of rules.
        • Draft: To correct it or leave it invisible in the list of rules.
      3. **Decision type: **
        • Ballot.
        • Percent.
      4. Majority threshold: It is a rule that determines the minimum percentage of votes of the board members that a motion must receive in a voting process in order to be approved.
    2. Members’ rights attached to the rule:

      1. Click on the Workflow members switch to give access to all members of the workflow
      2. Or search for the specific members that you want to link to this rule. Select as many members as you want.
    3. Quorum management:

      1. Attendance quorum: You can set a minimum percentage of required attendance on the rule.
      2. Representation quorum: The representative quorum is the group of specific board members that are indispensable to carry out the decision-making of the board.
  4. Click on Create a rule to finish the set up.
