USE / CREATE MEETING TEMPLATES

A well-organized agenda helps prepare board members for an effective meeting, but preparing an agenda can be time-consuming and repetitive. BoardiGO offers templates to save hours of preparation work, while still giving you enough flexibility to ensure that your meetings are effective and follow the governance structure set by your organization. You can even create your own templates based on the structure and parameters defined by your organization.

Use of default templates:

  1. Create a meeting from a template.
  2. The list of available templates will be displayed.
  3. Check the meeting outline and if it suits you, click on the Create button.
  4. A copy of the agenda will be created for you to edit and update with items from the current meeting. BoardiGO also offers a dashboard that gives you an overview of the meeting’s progress. It allows you to see which agenda items have been completed and which ones still need attention.
  5. Click on Confirm and send the meeting date.

Create your own template

  1. Use a past event to create a template by going to the Past event section.
  2. If the outline fits the structure of your new meeting, click on the Create a template button at the top right of the screen.
  3. You must give your new template a name so that you can easily locate it in your list of templates.
  4. Click the Save button to store your template in the template section.
  5. Once saved, you can use it to create your next meetings, editing and updating the content of the agenda.
